Ms. Casmaer, MAJ (retired) is an emergency medicine physician assistant and pre-hospital medicine instructor that has liaised with each U.S military service and multiple Partner Nations to develop operational medicine and medical training policies. She has developed, organized and executed medical training for civilians, emergency medical professionals and first responders utilizing the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care guidelines, evidence-based emergency medicine protocols and simulation training. She has conducted numerous combat deployments and medical civic action programs and healthcare education including planning of international evacuation. She was instrumental in the development and implementation of the individual first aid kit for U.S. soldiers on the battlefield for point of injury care. She collaborated with Human Rights Watch and the Ministry of Health to create preventive medicine and trauma training for various local nationals and performed partner nation medical capability assessments. She has worked closely with the Institute for Surgical Research (ISR) on various tactical medical equipment research programs to optimize delivery of first responder and critical care during all phases of operational medical evacuation.

Mr. Engle, LTC (retired), is a physician assistant and pre-hospital medicine instructor. He has liaised with each U.S military Service and multiple Partner Nation Ministries of Health to develop operational medicine training policies. He has developed, organized, and executed medical training for medical professionals and non-medical personnel utilizing the Institute for Surgical Research clinical practice guidelines, the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) guidelines, and various medical modeling and simulation. He has numerous combat and humanitarian deployments and has been instrumental in the planning of international evacuation and developing medical rules of engagement with U.S. Embassies and the ICRC. Mr. Engle collaborated with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, the Joint Trauma System, the CoTCCC, Military Training Network and the University of Minnesota to develop point-of-injury and prolonged field care training for the DoD, First Responders, and Law Enforcement agencies.
