Emergency Disaster Systems (EDS) focuses on hemorrhage control for Active Shooter scenarios, hunting and range activities, and disaster preparedness.
Pediatric Emergency Disaster Systems (PEDS) fills capability gaps in pediatric trauma providing equipment to better manage pediatric trauma.
EDS is a Service-Disabled veteran-owned small Business founded by a military professional with multiple combat
deployments in the pre-hospital environment. Extensive experience triaging and treating casualties during multiple casualty incidents including pediatric patients.
Extensive experience developing healthcare programs, policies, and procedures benefitting trauma care research, clinical practice guidelines (CPG), and quality care for the Department of Defense.
From our experience treating pediatric patients during overseas deployments, we realized the ineffectiveness of the current pediatric trauma equipment, CPGs, and training. Here we developed the PEDS bag during our personal time as we wanted to fill the capability gap and innovatively disrupt the current standard.
EDS Founders are experienced medical professionals dedicated to improving resuscitation capabilities for the Department of Defense, Federal Agencies, Law Enforcement, and Hospital Systems.
EDS personnel have extensive experience managing the performance and credentialing of multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, liaising Hospital systems and staff to ensure streamlined cooperation and collaboration between pre-hospital and hospital medicine, and executing medical training events for Emergency Medical Technicians, credentialed providers, and other aspects of the medical community utilizing clinical practice guidelines and varying modeling and simulation.
Continuing to practice medicine allows EDS personnel to triage, treat, and follow-up with patients to ensure current policies and equipment meet the need during resuscitation efforts.
